With brasserie-style design and a cosy interior, Hampstead Café Rouge serves classic French cuisine. On Hampstead High Street, Café Rouge has outside seating and is only a 1-minute walk from Hampstead Tube Station in London.
As part of the nationwide group of Café Rouge restaurants, this branch offers their range of classic French dishes such as confit duck, beef bourguignon, steak frites and mussels. Smaller dishes are also on offer for a lighter bite. Particularly good value for money are the set menus for lunch and dinner (available most days). To accompany the food there is also a good range of French wines, many from less well known producers.
In true French style, breakfast is also an important meal at Café Rouge. With croissants, pain au chocolat, omelettes and croques, as well as hot chocolate, tea and all types of coffees, it makes a great start to the day.
Café Rouge Hampstead is an excellent choice for informal French dining in a friendly, relaxed environment. There is a private room and Hampstead Heath is within easy reach.

Very efficient service and good value for money. For the high street chain it is a good place to eat.

Booked for dinner on Saturday evening, asked for a table away from the door which we got. Service and atmosphere was excellent. We all had a starter Mushrooms on Toast and Pate and for main steak and chicken dishes from the menu and cheese platter for our desert polished of with a lovely Irish coffee. We were able to receive a free bottle of white wine due to some ones birthday who had earlier received a voucher from Café Rouge. The location could not be better as the restaurant is on Hampstead high street close to the underground and shops. The service was very good and attentive
