The restaurant is set out well and for the lucky few has tables looking out to sea. We had pre-booked our table and even though we were a bit early our table was ready and we were shown straight to it by a friendly member of staff. We chose our starters and main courses from the extensive main menu (as we didnt realise the chicken buffet night finished at 8pm - will book an earlier time next visit) and I went to the bar to order the food and drinks. Our drinks were served promptly by a cheery waitress and within 10 minutes of ordering at the bar our starters arrived. My wife's pate and toast was well worth the money and she enjoyed every bit of it! My son and daughter chose the chicken goujons which were declared "very tasty" and I had the chicken wings which were nice and meaty - on ordering I swapped the piri piri dip for bbq which was not a problem. We were not rushed at all and after 10-15 minutes our mains arrived - a sirloin steak cooked just right, a full rack of meaty ribs, a tikka curry and a mixed grill all of which were delicious with good portions and were piping hot. We all really enjoyed our meals which were delicious. After our table was cleared we waited a while before deciding on puddings. We ordered two ice creams, a banoffee pie and a tiramisu. All were very tasty but the tiramisu was quite a small portion for £4.49 so not really worth it. All in all we enjoyed a really good evening and will definitely be coming back
